Walkthrough Energy Surveys

Our consultant conducts a visual survey of your site looking at all aspects of energy consumption – for example:

  • Lighting
  • Computing
  • Space and water heating
  • Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Compressed air
  • Refrigeration
  • Steam systems and boiler plant
  • Industrial processes

Particular attention is paid to the equipment and processes that consume the greatest amount of energy.

Potential energy saving opportunities are identified and quantified using historical energy consumption information – and payback periods are estimated for each opportunity.

Half-hourly energy consumption data is used where available because this gives far more information on how energy is used – in particular that wasted at night and during weekends.

Recommendations may include how additional management effort should be directed, measures to improving staff performance and additional sub-metering.

All of this information is presented in a comprehensive report.
